Trustee Vacancy

The Town of Hugo is looking for an interested resident to fill a vacancy on the Board of Trustees. The person appointed will serve until the regular municipal election in April, 2020. Qualified individuals must be a United States Citizen, be at least 18 years of age, be a registered voter and have lived in the town limits of Hugo for the previous 12 months. If interested, please submit a letter of interest to the Hugo Town Hall, 522 2nd Avenue, Hugo. Letters of interest must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Friday, June 29, 2018. All interested persons who submit a letter of interest are asked to attend a special Town Board meeting on Monday, July 2, 2018 at 6:30 PM at the Town Hall in Hugo to answer any questions the current Board members may have before making their selection.


June 1, 2018 is the FINAL day for all dog owners or keepers in Hugo to license their dog(s) AFTER THIS DATE, there is a $10.00 late charge assessed at the time of licensing (per license). If you do not own or keep a dog(s) please notify the Town Hall so that the records can be corrected. Please bring proof of rabies vaccination to theTown Hall when licensing your dog(s). A veterinarian will be available at the Town Hall on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM to provide rabies vaccinations, should you need and want this service. Town license fees are: each neutered male or spayed female-$5.00 and each not neutered male or not spayed female- $10.00.

The Hugo Municipal Swimming Pool  is opened Tuesdays-Sundays 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM weather permitting. Daily admission is $3.00; Family Pool Pass (allows 20 visits) is $30.00; Individual Pass is $40.00. Swim parties are to be arranged with the pool staff. Pool party prices are as follows: $30.00 per hour for 15 people or less with 2 lifeguards on duty;  $45.00 per hour for more than 15 people and with 3 lifeguards on duty.
